Open thread: Capitals at Panthers

(Nick Wass/Associated Press)

The Capitals’ win Saturday offered a blueprint of how the team can succeed under Coach Adam Oates, the next step is to do it consistently. Washington hopes to capture its first road win of the season Tuesday night against the Florida Panthers.

“We can’t let up, we can’t be satisfied with just one game,” Troy Brouwer said. “Even though we had a great game and played well, we’re still a long ways out of the playoffs. And we have to see that as well as just go out there and continue to play well. One game isn’t good enough.”
