Open thread: Capitals at Jets

(John McDonnell/The Washington Post)

The Capitals look to capture consecutive wins for the first time this season while extending their success against Winnipeg. Washington is 6-3-2 against the Jets since they moved to Winnipeg and has won the past four meetings between the two teams including the last three at MTS Centre.

Braden Holtby (2-4-0, .913 save percentage 2.91 GAA) gets the nod for the Capitals and will be opposed by Ondrej Pavelec (3-5-0, .904 save percentage, 3.01 GAA).

Discuss the game right here and pass the time before puck drop with these reads.
