The Nats’ Champagne celebration

The moments after the Nats clinched their first NL East title went something like this: hugs, screams, t-shirts, goggles, snorkles, bottles, more bottles, poppin’ bottles, double-fisting bottles, dumping Champagne on GMs, dumping beer on teammates, dumping liquids on broadcasters, wet hair, wet shirts, wet goggles, more bottles, more hugs, more screams, more bottles.

“Speechless,” Drew Stroren told F.P. Santangelo, in between about 500 more beer showers. “I’m wet, I’m  cold, I smell like beer, and I love it.”

Some images, taken with love from MASN’s fairly enjoyable post-game broadcast.
