There has been no small amount of debate in Nats Town about whether the franchise should continue to play “Take On Me” even though the man that song is most associated with, Michael Morse, is gone to Seattle.

Monday afternoon, the decision was made from above, and the answer was aye. Inay. Oh-oooooooooh!

I haven’t yet found a full clip of the moment, but this at least gives you the flavor. And sure, it can’t match Game 5 of the NLDS, but give it time. This was April 1, and no one was sure it was coming.

Was Morse touched by the gesture? Not quite.

In other yes-I’ll-watch-this-seven-times video clips, here’s Bryce Harper’s first homer of the year, from somewhere down the first-base line.
