“Obviously I’ve got to do a better job in getting these guys to tackle because we had way too many tackling issues the first two games,” Jim Haslett said last week.

“The missed tackles are huge,” Barry Cofield said. “Huge.”

“Tackling has been poor,” London Fletcher said.

“Our job is to rally to the ball so we can corral that ballcarrier, so the guys don’t have to make those difficult tackles in space,” Kedric Golston said.

Things weren’t much improved on Sunday. This play was probably the toughest to watch. Joique Bell went through four Redskins en route to the end zone. (Watch it here.)

After he got past them, Brandon Meriweather still had a clear shot at the back. That didn’t matter.
