Furniture retailer Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams is heading to Tysons Galleria, where the company plans to open a 10,000-square-foot, dog-friendly location on Friday.

The flagship store will be near the mall’s Macy’s entrance. Treats will be on-hand for four-legged visitors, and pet owners can pick up matching sofas for themselves and their dogs.

Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams has a store on 14th Street NW, but executives say the newest outpost will help nab business from upscale shoppers in Fairfax County and the suburbs.

“This is a very important location for us,” Mitchell Gold said in a statement. “Being able to secure a location in the Tysons Galleria is like getting accepted to the finest Ivy League university in the country.”

In the meantime, Tysons Galleria is getting at least one more highly-anticipated brand: Saint Laurent makes its debut at the mall Wednesday.
