Tim Tebow refuels plane, congratulates Wichita State

Flying from Point A to Point B, doing whatever an NFL quarterback does in March, Tim Tebow’s private plane made a refueling stop at Point C. That happened to be at Wichita Mid-Continent Airport, a small airport with two levels, 11 gates and two Great American Bagel restaurants.

While Tebow’s jet gassed up, he acted like the swell guy he is and boarded the Wichita State team bus. The Shockers had just arrived back home after upsetting top-seeded Gonzaga in Salt Lake City, so Tebow offered up his congratulations. TV station KSN has some video too.

“This you will remember for the rest of your lives,” Tebow said, per the Wichita Eagle. “You will never forget it, guys. These are the special times of your lives, regardless of what you do in the future. So, I just want to say congrats. You are an inspiration to so many people.”
