Kevin Ware was released from IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis shortly after noon today.

The hospital confirmed that Ware, who broke his leg in Louisville’s victory Sunday over Duke, had been released and Ware himself tweeted that he was joining his teammates — “my brothers” — back in Kentucky. He texted the Louisville Courier-Journal: “I should be leaving around 1 to go back to school. Then make my way to Atlanta tomorrow.”
