Catch a glimpse of Fringe Festival performers on Friday

With 130 performances on the schedule, selecting what shows to see at July's Fringe Festival can be a bit of a dice roll. But the annual Fringe preview should help narrow down the lot. Catch four-minute sneaks of 25 productions at Fort Fringe on Friday. The free preview kicks off at 7:30 p.m. inside the Baldacchino Gypsy Tent, but you may want to show up early to secure a spot, which are first come, first served. The bar at Fort Fringe opens at 5:30, which gives you time to grab a drink and start edging towards the tent when seating opens up at 7:15. The performances are scheduled to run until 10 p.m. (place your over/under bets now) followed by live music at 10:30.
