See Outkast this summer? Head to Delaware.

Perhaps you've heard that a little hip-hop duo called Outkast recently announced plans to reunite at the 2014 Coachella festival? And that Big Boi and Andre 3000 have booked some 40 festival dates for the upcoming summer?

Turns out, at least one of those coveted dates is in our backyard. Outkast will be one of the headliners of the Firefly Music Festival June 19-22 in Dover, Del. It's under two hours by car from D.C. to Delaware's second-largest city and capital, which is barely enough time to spell Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik, let alone listen to it back-to-back, which you should do right now, just because. The Arctic Monkeys and Foo Fighters join Outkast atop the Firefly bill. Four-day general admission passes ($249-$299) go on sale Monday at noon.

It would be surprising if Delaware is as close to the D.C. area as Outkast comes this summer. Two dates to keep an eye on: the Sweetlife Festival at Merriweather Post Pavilion on May 10, and any potential Virgin Mobile FreeFest date in late summer. In the meantime, watch the Firefly announcement video, which features some questionable remixes.
