The judges have spoken, and Beer Madness is down to 16 competitors. Greg Kitsock’s report has the full details, including the shocking first-round upsets of Brewer’s Art Ozzy and Blue Mountain Full Nelson.

But now that the Sweet 16 matchups have been set, you’re invited to go to Meridian Pint, try free one-ounce pours of the competitors and cast your own vote. Over the next week, the bar will offer tastings of all eight matchups, which arrive with a ballot. Taste the beers, choose a favorite and hand your votes back to the bartender.

The schedule:

Thursday, March 27
Hop Regional #1: Monocacy Riot Rye vs. DC Brau Public Ale
Fruit/Spice Regional #1: Hardywood Singel vs. Victory Swing

Friday, March 28
Hop Regional #2: Troegs Perpetual IPA vs. Mad Fox Orange Whip
Fruit/Spice Regional #2: Starr Hill The Love vs. Franklin's Golden Opportunity Blonde

Monday, March 31
Crisp Regional #1: Dominion Lager vs. Stillwater Classique
Malt Regional #1: Atlas District Common vs. Devils Backbone Vienna Lager

Tuesday, April 1
Crisp Regional #2: Bluejacket Forbidden Planet Kolsch vs. Lost Rhino Zlaty Czech Pils
Malt Regional #2: Alewerks Tavern Ale vs. Evolution Lucky 7 Porter

Important note: The free samples and ballots will only be offered on the days listed. If you go on Friday, for example, you will not be able to sample and vote for the DC Brau and Monocacy beers.
