Fishnet cast in Shaw

A College Park favorite has opened its doors in -- where else? -- Shaw. Fishnet, a fast-casual spot for fried and grilled fish sandwiches, as well as fish tacos and fish sticks, has moved in on the same row as the Uprising Muffin Co. and the trio of Derek Brown restaurants.

The second Fishnet doesn't mess with a formula that works. Here, you'll find four types of fish that can be paired with four types of sauces, either on a platter or served with lettuce and tomato on a bun ($12), with fries, coleslaw or salad. You can also get fish and chips, fish tacos (which are served rolled, almost like mini-burritos) and even a burger; for vegetarians, there's grilled cheese and cauliflower soup. Wash it down with beer or wine, and have a Nutella mousse for dessert.

A sign in the restaurant advertises a coming attraction: Eventually, Fishnet will have a reservations-only, multi-course seafood tasting bar for four. Stay tuned for more info about that.
