The Washington Post

Happy Friday everyone!

A small part of the Large Magellanic Cloud, one of the closest galaxies to our own, is seen from NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope. The collection of small baby stars — most weighing less than the sun — form a young stellar cluster known as LH63. The burning red intensity of the nebulae at the bottom of the picture illuminates wisps of gas and dark dust, each spanning many light years. (Reuters/NASA/ESA/)

Here’s a great image to mark the end of the work week. (See it up close here.)

Enjoy your weekend! I’ll see you back here Monday. Also if you’re heading to SXSW next week, drop me an e-mail. I’ll be arriving Friday.
