The exponential progress of technology, in one tweet

Sometimes it’s easy to forget just how far technology has advanced. As Vivek Wadwa noted this morning, a $500 laptop today is more powerful than a supercomputer from 1985 that cost $17.5 million. Or take a look at this computer with a 5 megabyte hard drive from 1956 that weighed over a ton. Louis CK is right about everything being awesome. And what’s coming next will be even better.
