Smithsonian Magazine's "The Future is Here" festival featured a man whizzing around the Ronald Reagan building in a jetpack, thanks to special clearance from the FAA and the Secret Service. (Smithsonian Magazine)

Here’s some striking footage from this weekend’s Future is Here festival, hosted by Smithsonian Magazine. The jetpack — an H202-Z — is powered by a combination of hydrogen peroxide and nitrogen, which produce steam and thrust.
