A hypnotizing view of a coral reef

Daniel Stoupin’s “Slow Life” gives us a magnified view of the vibrant world inside coral reefs. Stoupin, a PhD marine biology student from the University of Queensland, spent nine months and used 150,000 images to make this short video. Focusing mostly on corals and sponges, he used time-lapse photography to show us what we are unable to see with the naked eye.

For more information on the video or to see more of his work, visit his Web site.
