The Nationals have gone 4-7 in their past 11 games, which means they have saved their worst stretch of the season – their first subpar stretch, really – for almost last. They can start to pull out of it against Kyle Kendrick, who this season has a 2.37 ERA against the Nationals in 19 innings. The Nationals need a win to ensure they keep at least a tie of the best record in the National League with the Reds. Talk about the game right here.
