The Canadian women’s hockey team opened its Olympic tournament with a 5-0 rout of Switzerland, an expected result for the three-time defending Olympic champions.

Canada moves to the top of the Group A standings with the United States, which earned a 3-1 victory against Finland earlier on Saturday.

The U.S. will play Switzerland next on Monday at 5 a.m., while Canada will play Finland on Monday at 10 a.m.
