Free beer in Sochi, but only if you’re Canadian

Canada’s Olympic house has the holy grail of Winter Games drinking — a beer fridge that provides free beverages to anyone with a Canadian passport.

According to to the UK Daily Mail, Molson Canadian is offering a free brew to the country’s competitors and all it costs is a swipe of their passport.

Free beer is apparently working for the Canadians, as they’re one off Norway’s pace for medals lead in Sochi. And the country’s curling team got off to a dominating start Tuesday, defeating defending champion Sweden.
