Your messy house: let’s see it! #mymessyhouse

Clint’s wife Mel says: “Started folding laundry. Ended up reading about Fancy Nancy. New words learned.” Join us! #Mymessyhouse (Clint Edwards)

So it seems that Clint Edwards has hit on something here. What is it about his piece that made us all say “Oh, I need to share this on Facebook and tag my 9,247 girlfriends.”

Is it that we have messy houses and that’s okay? Instead of doing laundry, it’s okay to read your daughter a Fancy Nancy book? Parents who work outside of the home need to give those who are at home with kids a break?

All of that. And so, what do you think of this: Be brave. Put up a picture of your messy house and hashtag it #mymessyhouse on Facebook or Twitter.

Edwards, who blogs at No Idea What I’m Doing: A Daddy Blog, is kindly kicking this off for us.

So, join us. Tell us what you did instead of folding the laundry, doing the dishes, filing your paperwork that has piled up on your desk for four months (guilty). We’ll post the best ones later.

You know, after our laundry is folded.
