Before and after the Washington state landslide

The death toll from the mudslide in Washington state rose to 30 people on Thursday morning, according to local officials. In addition, Snohomish County released a list of 15 people believed to be missing due to the landslide. This came a day after President Obama signed a disaster declaration, which makes federal funding available to people in the area.

It has been nearly two weeks since the landslide, which decimated a stretch of land in the state, destroyed houses and left a monstrous field of debris in its wake.
