Koch brothers targeted

The Democratic outside group Patriot Majority is targeting the billionaire Koch brothers with a $500,000 cable ad buy, the first step in a multimillion dollar assault on "the greed agenda."

The campaign, including direct mail, online and TV ads, is supposed to go beyond the election into 2013.

Attacking the flood of campaign cash is an uphill battle -- three-quarters of Americans say they've heard "little" or "nothing at all" about increased spending by outside groups this cycle. But this is the first well-funded, national campaign directly going after major Republican donors.

For what it's worth: Patriot Majority's donors are anonymous.
