Obama headed to Louisiana on Monday to review storm response

President Obama will travel to Louisiana on Monday to meet with local officials and review the response and recovery efforts following Hurricane Issac's arrival in the region, the White House announced this afternoon. Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney is headed to New Orleans today to tour storm damage.

Obama will no longer attend a previously scheduled Monday campaign event in Cleveland, Ohio, his campaign said. The White House said more details about the president's trip to Louisiana would be announced when they become available.
