Palin on Kerry: I can’t believe he knows who I am

Sarah Palin had a quick response to Sen. John Kerry's dig in tonight's speech, saying that she's surprised Kerry would even speak her name.

Kerry noted that Palin once said, while defending her foreign policy bona fides, that you can see Russia from Alaska.

Palin retorted somewhat oddly during an appearance on Fox Business Network: “It’s funny that he would take a little pot shot like that, but it’s funny he even knows my name."

(It's really no surprise that Kerry knows her name, of course, as she was the Republican vice presidential candidate in 2008.)

She later added: “I think he diminished himself by even mentioning my name.”
