Biden: Obama was ‘presidential’

Before an appearance in Council Bluffs, Iowa, Vice President Biden gave reporters a relatively sunny assessment of Obama's debate performance last night.

"I think the president did well. He was presidential," Biden said. "You just don’t ever know what game, what positions Gov. Romney’s going to come with." He added that it wasn't over: "I think at the end of the day we have two more debates coming up, or the president does, and I feel very good about it."

As for his own debate with Paul Ryan, Biden said he was mostly doing research on the Republican congressman's record. "I don’t want to say anything in the debate that’s not completely accurate," he explained.
