Lack of term limits, the ‘root of all evil’

Asked what type of constitutional amendment they would enact if they were able to do so, several of the third-party White House hopefuls pointed to congressional term limits – an issue that was in the spotlight two decades ago, but has since receded.

Johnson called the lack of term limits the “root of all evil” and took aim at politicians who essentially tell their constituents, “If you want the bacon to continue to be brought home, vote for me”

“I think I’m living proof that term limits work,” he added.

Four third-party candidates held their own presidential debate in Chicago. It was moderated by former CNN host Larry King.
