David Stern: Obama ‘not that good’ at basketball

NBA commissioner David Stern said President Obama is "not as good as he thinks he is" at basketball.

Stern told Reuters that he is a "loyal" and "passionate" Democrat. But he didn't let that stand in the way of honestly assessing the president's on-the-court abilities."He's a lefty. He goes the same way every time," Stern explained.

Obama is an avid basketball fan who plays pickup games regularly and counts some of the NBA's top players among his supporters.

"The politics of it is the players appreciate him for who he is and what he has accomplished," Stern said.
