The final survey of the Massachusetts Senate race from the Western New England University Polling Institute has Democrat Elizabeth Warren leading Sen. Scott Brown (R) 50 to 46 percent.
There's no significant change from the last Western New England poll, which had Warren up five points, 50 to 45 percent.
But the new poll is one of seven out of eight recent surveys showing Warren with a lead of at least two points. One late October survey from the Boston Globe found a tie. The Fix rates this race as "Lean Democratic."
Nine percent of voters told the Western New England University Polling Institute that they were open to changing their mind.
While Brown continues to get high favorable marks and overwhelmingly wins independent voters, Warren has consolidated the support of voters who support President Obama -- the vast majority in this blue state.
