99 Problems. But Mitt ain’t one.

DES MOINES – Rap mogul Jay-Z’s got 99 problems. But Mitt ain’t one.

That’s the new lyric to HOVA’s hit song “99 Problems,” as he performed it at President Obama’s rally in Columbus, Ohio, on Monday afternoon.

The rap impresario warmed up the crowd before Obama took the stage. “I didn't clear this with Secret Service so hopefully they won’t tackle me,” Jay-Z said before launching into his re-mixed version of “99 Problems.”

“If you’re having girl problems, I feel bad for you, Son. I got 99 problems but Mitt ain't one,” he rapped, referring, of course, to Republican candidate Mitt Romney.

Jay-Z and wife Beyoncé have been high-profile supporters of Obama's, hosting a celebrity-filled fundraiser in Manhattan a few months ago. Beyoncé recently wrote a letter of thanks to first lady Michelle Obama for being a good role model and has appeared in campaign videos.

Oddly, though, Jay-Z followed up with his song “On to the Next One,” which surely Obama is hoping voters won't say on Tuesday.
