Vice President Biden: I’ll ‘run for county council or something’ in 2016

At a diner in Cleveland, where the vice president made an unexpected stop Tuesday, a typically garrulous Vice President Biden greeted supporters and chatted with voters one last time.

As Biden circulated, commenting on customers' biceps and food choices, one woman had a question for him: "After Obama wins this election are you going to run?"

In response, Biden joked, "Oh, I'm going to go back home and run for county council or something."

Asked earlier if this day would mark the last time he would vote for himself, Biden grinned and responded, “No, I don’t think so.”

The vice president also revealed that he is travelling to Staten Island on Friday, a trip that has not been announced yet. Staff said the date and location of his trip are not confirmed.
