Frank Guinta now thinking Senate

Rep. Frank Guinta (R-N.H.), who lost by four points to former representative Carol Shea-Porter (D) this month, is considering a comeback run against Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D).

“My name comes up for Senate, House and governor,” Guinta told Roll Call on Thursday. “Obviously, it’s nice to be thought of in that way. Quite frankly, at this point, it’s something that I will focus on sometime next year.” It's a swing state, but Shaheen is popular. In a recent poll from the Democratic firm Public Policy Polling, Shaheen beat former senator John Sununu — another potential contender —- by 11 points.
