Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) is working on a book, the National Review reports, which will combine his personal history with his political philosophy. He will cover the 2012 presidential campaign, but it is not any sort of tell-all -- he's only planning to say good things about Mitt Romney.

The congressman previously co-wrote the book "Young Guns" with fellow Republican Reps. Eric Cantor (Va.) and Kevin McCarthy (Calif.). That book criticized the previous generation of Republican leaders in Congress, saying they betrayed their principles and failed to rein in spending.

Ryan is considered a potential presidential candidate in 2016, and writing a book is a common way for contenders to lay out their ideas.
