Bill Clinton pitches Chelsea Clinton for president

Former president Bill Clinton says his wife would make a fine president, but over the long run, he's got another Clinton in mind.

Their daughter.

"Day after tomorrow, my wife, because she's had more experience," Clinton told CNN's Piers Morgan when asked whether Hillary or Chelsea Clinton would be a better president. "Over the long run, Chelsea. She knows more than we do about everything."

Bill Clinton added: "I feel like I'm going to school every day when we have conversations."

There has already been plenty of speculation about when Chelsea Clinton will enter politics. She has said this year that she's trending toward a more "purposely public life."

Last month, over at The Fix, I ran through some of her options.
