Hillary Clinton to raise money for de Blasio

Former secretary of state Hillary Clinton is set to raise money for New York mayoral candidate Bill de Blasio (D).

De Blasio's campaign announced Thursday that Clinton will raise money for him sometime next month. There are no more details on the event at this point.

Clinton and her husband, former president Bill Clinton, endorsed de Blasio last week. De Blasio was Hillary Clinton's campaign manager during her 2000 Senate campaign and won the Democratic nomination earlier this month.

Hillary Clinton is also hosting a pair of fundraisers for another Clinton ally who is on the ballot this year -- Virginia gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe.
