Democratic super PAC hits Republicans with crying kid ad

A Democratic super PAC is up with an ad you can't miss.

It's 30 seconds of a crying kid, and it's being run against nine House Republicans, accusing them of shutting down the government because they didn't get what they wanted.

"Congressman Dave Joyce didn't get his way on shutting down health care reform, so he shut down the government and hurt the economy," the narrator says in an ad being run against freshman Rep. David Joyce (R-Ohio).

The House Majority PAC ad buy is in the mid-six figures, according to the PAC.

The ads are also being run against Reps. Gary Miller (Calif.), Mike Coffman (Colo.), Rodney Davis (Ill.), Mike Fitzpatrick (Pa.), Mike Grimm (N.Y.), Joe Heck (Nev.), John Kline (Minn.) and Steve Southerland (Fla.).

Updated 12:48 p.m.: The super PAC is now running the same ad against House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio).
