Obama to hold year-end press conference at 2 p.m.

Before leaving for Hawaii for his holiday break later this evening, President Obama will first hold an end-of-the-year press conference at 2 p.m. in the Brady Press Briefing Room at the White House.

Obama is sure to get questions about the National Security Agency's surveillance program after the recent release  of a report by a White House review panel that called for a variety of safeguards and limits on the program.

Obama is also likely to face questions about delays in the implementation of the new health-care law.
