George H.W. Bush will mark 90th birthday with a parachute jump

Former president George W. Bush turns 90 today. He plans to celebrate thousands of feet up in the air.

Bush will make a parachute jump, he announced on Twitter on Thursday morning.

His spokesman, Jim McGrath, tweeted a picture of the jumpsuit he will be wearing, which bears the the label "41 @90."

McGrath told the Associated Press that Bush intends to jump from a helicopter with a retired member of the Army Golden Knights.

Bush made a tandem jump when he turned 85 and vowed to do it again at 90.
