D.C. United at New England Revolution

(D.C. United) (D.C. United)

Repeat after me: Ten days until the U.S. Open Cup final.

In the meantime, there is tonight’s match at New England against the playoff-contending Revolution and next week’s why-bother visit with mostly reserves to Toronto FC.

United tonight will wear black armbands to commemorate those who lost their lives in the Navy Yard shooting, which took place two miles from RFK Stadium. The club is also creating an opportunity for fans to donate tickets to the Oct. 4 home match against Chicago to service members.

Venue: Gillette Stadium, Foxborough, Mass.

Kickoff: 7:30 p.m. ET.

TV: None locally. Direct Kick and MLS Live packages only.

Weather: 68 degrees, dry, 15-mph wind.

Referee: Jose Carlos Rivero (bio).

DCU: Hamid; Korb, Jakovic, White, Riley; DeLeon, Kitchen, Thorrington, Pontius; Silva; De Rosario. Subs: Willis, Martin, Doyle, Nyassi, Porter, Neal, Shanosky.
