ISO: The best state-based political blogs

Eighteen months is an eternity in politics.

That's how long it's been since we released our most recent list of the best political blogs in each of the 50 states. In that time, blogs have risen and fallen. Some bloggers have moved on to legitimate employment, other new hotshots have arrived on the scene.

This woman may or may not be a blogger.

And so, it's time to revisit -- and revise -- our list. With 38 governors races being contested between now and 2014 and another 35 Senate races -- not to mention all 435 House contests -- on the ballot, there's no time like the present to put together a comprehensive list of where to find the best political news and analysis in each of the 50 states.

Here's what we want from you. If you've got a favorite blog in your home state, your adopted home state or just a state whose politics you follow closely, submit it in our nomination form below. (You can fill out the form as many times as you like if you have a whole lot of blogs you like.) If you prefer to make your nominations via Twitter, just make sure it contains the hashtag #fixblogs.

One important note: We want blogs that focus heavily on state politics, not national politics.

Once we get nominees for all 50 states, we'll cull the results and produce a list of the best of the best.

Chris Cillizza writes “The Fix,” a politics blog for the Washington Post. He also covers the White House.
