Matt Drudge was right. About the Internet at least. (VIDEO)

Fifteen years after he played a major role in introducing the political world to Monica Lewinsky, Matt Drudge remains a major player in the ever-moving swirl of political journalism.

His site, which was -- and is -- just a series of links, drew 6 million page views a month 15 years ago. In the last 30 days?  930 million page views. So, yeah.

Like him or hate him, Matt Drudge understood where Internet journalism was headed long before many in the mainstream media.  Check out our deep dive on Drudge from today's "In Play".
