Read this. Be smarter.

Starting today, we've got a new way for you to start your political day.

This guy is a genius.

It's called "Read In" -- a newsletter put together by political know-it-all (in a good way!) Reid Wilson. The goal is to tell you everything you need to know about the day to come in politics before you head into your first meeting. (Or, in the case of the Fix, before you've consumed your first caramel macchiato.)

It's chock full of good stuff.  Today, for example, Reid broke down the spending by Americans for Prosperity in Senate races and found that it's $16 million.

You can subscribe to "Read In" here. And, take a sample run by reading Reid's first offering today.

Chris Cillizza writes “The Fix,” a politics blog for the Washington Post. He also covers the White House.
