Politicians L-O-V-E making "friendly" bets on sporting events. It almost screams: "Look, we're just like real people!"  And, we are suckers for it.

Hence the photo above in which Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul (R) is sporting a UCONN Huskies tie after losing a bet over the men's national championship game in which the University of Connecticut bested the Kentucky Wildcats.
