An avigation easement

Another legal term I just learned — “[a]n easement permitting unimpeded aircraft flights over the servient estate.” Oddly, “avigation easement” is materially more common in court opinions than its clearer synonym, “aviation easement” (236 cases for avigation easement, 44 for aviation easement).
