Obama’s approval ratings skid to new low; economic stewardship in question
Public reviews of President Obama’s job performance have slipped as the general outlook is back to being as sour as it was before he took office in January 2009. Twice as many think his economic program has made the economy worse rather than better, raising the stakes for his jobs initiative this week.
Source: This Washington Post-ABC News poll was conducted by telephone Aug. 29 to Sept. 1, 2011, among a random national sample of 1,001 adults, including users of both conventional and cellular phones.
