My bride and I had a good laugh after reading the Aug. 4 Free For All letter by Daniel Dent, who didn’t know “old age” began at age 50 until he read it in a Post article [“50 is not the new 65”]. Jeanie and I got married on July 14 and had a beautiful garden wedding celebration for friends and family, including our grandchildren and her great-grandson. We are both over 65 and carry Medicare cards. We don’t use terms like “old age” or “senior citizen” and have no idea what Dent was talking about. We expect to celebrate 30 years of marriage.
