Letter to the Editor

John Edwards’s many betrayals

John Edwards wasn’t found guilty [“Edwards acquitted of one charge,” front page, June 1], but he certainly betrayed his wife, and he betrayed me. I contributed to his campaign while he was lying about marital fidelity. I believed him when he talked about moral values. He gets away after friends spent millions that may have been used to pay his mistress. Those of us who supported his campaign sunk their money into a sleaze. I’m still angry.
