I love the Free for All page because it demonstrates how differently something can be viewed. On the Sept. 14 page, two letters indicated that President Obama’s appearance in a photo at the Group of 20 summit was less than presidential [“Giving the wrong impression”]. I, however, noticed how everyone else in the photo appeared to be in a happy, almost lighthearted mood while the president seemed to be the only one who understood the gravity of his position and what needed to be accomplished with other world leaders. Although I don’t see him looking “diminished” with his bowed head, I can appreciate that we all see things differently. The interpretation is definitely in the eye of the beholder.
