Regarding the Oct. 1 Metro story “For deaf students, dorm has eye for detail”:
While as an architect I appreciate any article that raises the level of discourse and awareness of architecture, design and planning in the District, could The Post please develop a policy or practice of including the designers’ names in its pieces? The piece on the Gallaudet University dormitory mentioned the innovative design ideas and how the designers worked with the students and staff but did not mention the designers by name or even the firm’s name.
This is like writing about a music performance without mentioning the orchestra, a movie without mentioning the director or actors or a book without mentioning the author.
