Regarding the March 6 editorial “A dissident’s death in Cuba”:

Ángel Carromero was duly convicted after a trial with all legal guaranties, one that was attended by Spanish officials. It is amazing how The Post tries to misrepresent any news regarding Cuba, seeking to demonize our country.

You cannot lecture our legal system. Remember that five anti-terrorist Cuban citizens were convicted in the United States for crimes about which evidence was never presented by the prosecution. After 15 years they remain in U.S. prisons.

Someday bilateral relations between Cuba and the United States will be normalized. That will happen in spite of The Post.
