Too much disclosure in a crime photo
Regarding the Sept. 30 front-page story “A killer, coming of age”:
What were you thinking? The photo group on the third page of this interesting 10th-anniversary article on the sniper shootings included images of a distressed police chief at a news conference; the killers; crime scene officers with the killers’ car; a memento from a victim; and a grieving husband and daughter 10 years later — all very appropriate. But wait: There is also a crime-scene photo showing not just a bloody sheet over a bench where someone was killed. A foot is visible, and it’s apparent that the sheet covers a body.
Words fail me, other than to say that someone high up at The Post should apologize to the family of the victim under that sheet.
